Handouts:

We know the value of handouts. There's a lasting potential value of the adult student's filing them and looking at them again.

We use handouts as one way to engage adult learners. There are blanks to fill in and space to take notes. Handouts will not usually be derived from a PowerPoint file, but will have visual cues to the slides.
