Description
Strategic planning is a broad, thoughtful exercise that focuses on the long-term existence, viability and ultimate success of a credit union. As the industry experiences changes in member needs, technologies, competitors, financial performance requirements and regulations, credit unions need to deal with big-picture concerns all year-long, and not only at a periodic retreat. Volunteer Board members understand that their role in planning is both critical and different from that of management’s role. This session clearly developed for the 21st century, shows what strategic thinking means and how it compliments and collaborates with the strategic planning and business planning processes.
